Hi to all,
as MS has stopped its support for Windows XP I decided to set up a new Windows 8.1 notebook (not voluntarily!). For some specific reason I still need my Office 2003 installed on that notebook. No problem, the installation routine works as it did for Windows 7. Installing SP3 for Office 2003 (as I did under Window 7 on another notebook), the installation routine runs as usual, ending with a 'installation successful' message. But a click on 'Help > Info' in any Office 2003 program shows only SP2 being installed. Running the SP3 installation again it tells me that SP3 had already been installed. So what's correct: SP2 or SP3 installed? Is there anybody who encountered the same 'problem'? Thanks NP |
