Saying "but none of the suggestions I've found on the Web succeed" gives no indication of what you've actually tried.
PS: This link may help: http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Pr..._and_Uninstall but I don't propose to make any more suggestions of what you might try only to have you keep coming back with 'done that, didn't work'...
