Is there a way to "lock" the default quick-print settings in Office (Word/Excel)?
Greetings!
I have Office 2010, which I mainly use for Word & Excel, and I find that sometimes the quick-print button doesn't behave the way I expect. When I press it, what I'm hoping for is to get a single copy of the current document to print, but sometimes this is not the case. I've found that sometimes when I press the quick-print, I get multiple copies and I can't figure out why. I think it has to do with the number of pages I printed off in a different document most recently, but it's not a consistent "error" so I can't really say. For example, I write up a little flyer to post in the office here, hit the quick-print, and then 50 copies of the flyer come out even though I only wanted the one. It's gotten to the point where I almost never use the quick-print anymore, and just go through the regular print menu, but this seems to defeat the purpose of having a quick print button. Is there a way to lock the settings in so that no matter what, the quick print button only prints one copy? Thanks! ~Joe |
