I am doing a project for work that requires me to link several Word documents to a Excel workbook as well as having the excel sheet populate some data on the Word sheet. My question is whether or not I can complete this project from my own computer then place it on the company shared drive without having to repair hundreds of links one by one.

Although the LINK field links must be absolute, you can keep them pointing to the correct folder using the macro in the solution I've posted at:
