![]() Off the bat I'll say we do not have any back-ups to revert to, silly I know.. So we noticed a folder full of files was somehow in the wrong place i.e. had been moved within a different folder, it was at this point my colleague attempted to drag the folder pack to its original place. After doing so however it seems all of our Microsoft Office documents have become corrupt. Some have been copied up to 24 times for some reason. All files we need now have ' ~$ ' before the filename, it was to my understanding this happened when the file was open. Even after closing all windows/computers the problem continues. Along with all the changed filenames, there is a LOT of '.tmp' files that have been created, some of which have a few lines of text on them if opened with Word... Attached are a few screencaps; So basically, has anyone had this issue and fixed it? Any ideas to what might have caused this? Any help would be appreciated, Jonathan |
