Default xlsx files not opening after running converter

Hello,

I have a question about opening .xlsx files on Office 03. We are needing to open this excel file but are using office 03. So we updated all the microsoft updates then got the file converter pack from the micosoft website.

After the instilation it said it was complete and it wouldnt open up the file. It would open up docx. and pptx files(so it did work) but just not this excel file or any other .xlsx files. When I logged on as admin I was able to open up the file but as a regular user i was not.

Do you have any ideas to as why this file is not opening?
Thanks.

What happens when you try to open the xlsx? Have you tried first opening Excel, then "File", "Open" and browsing to the file?
