Unhappy Suddenly attachments won't open without buying new Office
Using Office Starter which came OE with my Toshiba laptop, suddenly some/most attachments won't open unless I buy Office. How to get around this and why has it just begun?

Try repairing the Office installation (via Programs & Features > Microsoft Office > Change in the Windows Control Panel).
