Default Link Between Access and Project 2010

Hi everyone. I'm new to these forums - this is my first post, actually - and I've got a pretty interesting (and hopefully simple) question for everyone.

I'm working on a project with a team of about 10 people. There are a number of different tasks to the project, so we're keeping track of each of these "action items" in a Microsoft Access 2010 database. The database works great and I'm pretty proud of how well it came out. In addition, we also have a schedule written up in Microsoft Project 2010. To further streamline our process, I was wondering if there was a way to link the two together. For example, if I create an action item in the Access database, I'd like it to automatically create a new line item in the Project schedule, assigning dependents and durations - that kind of thing.

My VBA is pretty good, so I'm not afraid of some code. I just wanted to know if this was possible even with VBA. If anyone has any insight or experience with this kind of thing, I'd really appreciate your help!

Thanks!
