Office repair fail
Win7--Office '07
Problem with Outlook, ran repair by way of program install/uninstall. I received the attached error. I viewed the directory C:\config.msi--FWIW, there is a 'lock icon' on the directory. I opened properties. I shared the directory and confirmed that all security and sharing, including advanced, were set to everyone being able to do anything. Regardless, the lock icon remains on the directory and the repair fails. Suggestion? Mark

After researching the web for the error # I've come to understand that the problem to which I refer is a MS bug and requires a lot more time and effort to clear than I'm willing to invest--I'll live with the minor OL inconvenience.
This thread is finished as far as I'm concerned. Mark
