Activation required, except I've already done that?
I have Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010, that I got from college in September of 2011. As of a couple days ago, every time I launch a Microsoft Office application the Activation Wizard appears with 'This copy of Microsoft Office is not activated. You have 27 days left to activate. Ensure you are connected to your corporate network to enable automatic activation. Your system administrator can help.'
I also have at the bottom of the Wizard window: Error Code: 0x8007232B I am not sure why this is happening now, since it's never given me a problem from Sept 2011 to now, and while I'm no longer at college, it's been over 5 months since I left and I've never seen anything about Office not being activated. I have no idea what the 'corporate network' bit is, because while I did get it from my college's IT department, nothing was ever even implied that it would be a temporary install, or that my activation would expire. |

Hi Mir,
AFAIK, anything you obtained under your college license would only remain valid whilst you had an ongoing relationship with the college. I don't know whether or how MS tracks that, though. From the startup message you describe, it seems some form of tracking applies, based on whether you have connected to the college server. Accordingly, it appears you're now required to purchase a licence for your own use.
