compatibility issues between 32-bit office and 64-bit system?
I searched and couldn't find any explanation. I just purchased a new laptop w/ a 64-bit processor. Do I need to buy any particular version of Office 2007 to match that, or will any version work fine? Last edited by Bird_FAT; 05-14-2009 at 09:36 AM. |

Office is a 32 bit app - it will be a while before they make an Office version that runs as a 64 bit app! I don't even think that the next release (office 13) is going to be 64 bit as far as I can tell!
There are no problems running it on a 64 bit system - I've been running mine on W7 for the last 3 or more months, and it's all tickety-boo! |
