Default Running Office 2010 & Office 2013

Is it possible to run both Office 2010 & Office 2013 on the same machine?

I'm having problems installing Office Pro Plus 2013 on my machine. When I install Office 2013 I'm never given a option to do a custom install. When I run the Setup64 file everything installs.

I feel there might be something wrong with my Office 2013 DVD so I called Microsoft. I was told that I can only have Office 2013 installed.

I'm finding this hard to believe because at times I've had 2 versions of Office installed on the same machine.

Thanks,

Paul

I have no experience with Office 2013, but all previous versions allow side-by-side installation, provided you install from earliest to latest. The only Office app you've been restricted to one of is Outlook.

Of course, if you're installing 64-bit Office 2013, that may have issues co-existing with a 32-bit installation of an earlier version. I have no experience with this either, however, as I only run Office 2010 in 32-bit mode.

I just installed Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 on my laptop, 64 bit, W7. I also am running Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010. I am having one issue however. When I run Outlook 2013, click on anything there (Contacts, email) my computer crashes, blue screen. This does not happen with ANY other 2013 product nor with Outlook 2010. Looking for answers to this but no luck yet

UPDATE:
Ran this by my IT people who informed me that you cannot run Outlook 2010 and 2013 on the same machine. Uninstalled Office 2010 and all is well.

Office 2010 & Office 2013 both are possible to install same PC.

when you setup 2013 after 2010 then not click upgade , you click install then you have multiple option , you just click as like you desire.

Thanks,
Sohel
