Default Can I have both 2003 and 2010 at the same time?

I currently have MS Office 2003 installed and do quite a bit of work, especially database, for a church and another non-profit organization (gratis). What I do for them must be, and stay in 2003 because they will not change their software. I am enrolled in some classes that will require 2010. The student copy is for a single computer. Will I be able to have both versions installed and use whichever is appropriate for the task at hand?
