Default Linking Excel-Word-Publisher

I'm doing a project for my business, and I'm trying to figure out if Office is the right set of software to do it or whether I need to look at something else.

What I'd like to do is have an Excel document into which I input all the relevant values for the report I'm doing, then have a temple word document automatically have those values inserted into linked charts and text (the document itself remains the same every time, only the numbers vary), and then after that have the style-free word document export to publisher where I'd have a style template that would be applied for printing.

Is this something Office is capable of doing? The complexity of the job isn't an issue so much as knowing whether it's even possible before starting.

Thanks for any help.

You can certainly link a Word document to an Excel workbook, so that changes in the workbook are automatically reflected in the document. You can also link a Publisher file to an Excel workbook so, if you want your output in Publisher, you could bypass Word altogether. I doubt you could export a 'Style Free' Word document to Publisher. In any event:
• If you define your Word Styles appropriately, Publisher can use them; and
• Although Word isn't a DTP application, it can produce high-quality output without the need to use apps like Publisher.
For Publisher Style usage and document importation, see:
