Default file -> open -> drop down arrow

Hi guys. I'm new to this forum. I have a question in regards to "file -> oprn -> drop down arrow" in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and etc. A user has a network mapped drive on his PC, and the path is \\fpserver.abc.com\data; the drive letter is S: For example, when you go to Word, click File -> Open then click the drop down arrow, it truncates the drive letter of the network drive cuz the path is too long. Is there a way I can expand the width of the drop down box or do something to show the drive letter?

Can you just expand the size of the overall window? That should scale out the size of each of the drop-down boxes and allow more room to display the test.
