Default Microsoft products unable to see my internet connection

Hello,

I have various problems which I think are all linked together:

- When I try to click on a url in an excel spreadsheet, I get the error " excel is not able to find the internet connection".
- When I try to access livemeeting, it says that there is a problem with the server
- When I try to run the repair tool for outlook, it says that I need to be connected to internet ( and I am definitely connected to internet)
-When I try to log in to msn, it also says that it cannot find my internet connection.

I think that everything is down to one problem. However I am not able to find a solution. I tried to troubleshoot them separetly but still I cannot solve my problem. I wonder if one of you already saw this type of problem and if you could help me solve this issue.

Thank you in advance
