Microsoft list the system requirements for MS Office 2007 Home and Student edition as:
500 megahertz (MHz) processor or higher, Memory 256 megabyte (MB) RAM or higher, Hard disk 1.5 gigabyte (GB); (a portion of this disk space will be freed after installation if the original download package is removed from the hard drive). Drive CD-ROM or DVD drive (dont know why) Display 1024x768 or higher resolution monitor (dont know why) Operating system Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack (SP) 2. I have bought a new small notebook with: 1.6 ghz atom processor, 1gb ram, 60gb hdd, no internal cd or dvd drive 1024x600 resolution screen, XP service pack 3 pre loaded. Am I going to be able to use MS Office OK? Has anyone got any experience of using MS Office 2007 on a small/mini notebook? Last edited by theredbaron; 02-14-2009 at 12:07 PM. |
