MS Office 2007 Not Displaying Properly
Hello guys
This is my first post here. Hope you can help me out. For some reason, MS Office 2007 is displaying all MS Office apps like Word And Powerpoint with a very old school looking interface. The icons in it even look like they are 16 bit bitmaps. Here is a screen shot of my problem: I started getting this problem when I transfered some old files over from another computer. The Word files are the old .doc format, which were made with MS Office 2003 and MS Office 2000. I did a virus scan with Nod32 ESET with current virus deffinations, and there were no viruses detected. I reinstalled MS Office 2007, but it did not help. I used teh diagnostics tools in MS Office 2007, and no errors were detected. Any help would be very much appreciated. MSOfficer |

Thats not healthy... even to look at.
We can sit here chatting back and forth and maybe end up fixing it, but i'd be tempted to carry out a system restore. System restores will cause system settings and files to revert back to how they were at the time of the restore, but leave your personal documents unchanged. Unless you carried out hours and hours of updates and program installs recenetly, this is the route i would take purely for time saving sake. Be sure to role your pc back to a time when you know your office app was functioning correctly. See here if youre using vista; Windows Vista System Restore Guide or here if youre using xp Windows XP System Restore Guide |
