Default Print Preview

Dear friends,
I have recently installed Microsoft office 2010 but print preview is not available when my printer is offline or switched off. In previous versions it was available when printer is switched off or offline

When you select Print, what do you see listed under "Printer" with the Printer on, then off?

You should see your default printer regardless whether it is on or off

Word sees the Driver, the Driver "sees" the actual printer

My point is Word is NOT concerned whether it is on or off

If the issue persists, I would first uninstall my printer, then reinstall and probably do a Windows restart
