Default standard locations in "save as"

In Word 2007 or Excel 2007 I want to save a file. I go tot "Save as" and in the left column I see a part of Explorer. In Windows XP that was the column "Save in" and you could add your most used folders.
But in Windows 7 I don't see that.
How can I get back that column?
