Install Office from MSOCache
I'm using a PC with Office 2010 Pro plus. I want to install this version to my PC computer. (but the installation setup I have lost, and I'm tired with download again because these installation files are too big). So, I'm decide to copy MSOCache folder of my laptop to PC, and install Office from this folder. But, when I started to install, there are some ugly problems have been occured. ( and make me cannot install from this source...) For example, if I came to folder {90140000-0011....}-C. and select setup.exe, will has error: "the language of this installation package is not supported by your system) So, who has experience about my work, please help me how to install from this source, please. thanks |

Hi hqt,
If you download and save the Office installation files, you can use the same set of files for multiple installations - no need to download each time. You cannot simply copy the files from another PC's MSOCache folder to another PC and expect it to work.
