My laptop died on Friday and I got a new Windows 7 machine yesterday. We have a full version of Office 2003 and an upgrade version of Office 2007. Do I really have to install a 8 year old version on the Windows 7 machine just so I can then install a 4 year old upgrade on top of that? It seems like a way to install old problems on a clean new machine as well as being very time consuming. Yes, I'd love to just buy and install Office 2010 Pro but we're a non-profit and can't afford that if it can be avoided. Is there any way I can just go straight to installing the Office 2007 upgrade if I have both of the license keys?
