Can only access old version
Hi folks,
Came across a problem I hope someone can help with. Using Microsoft Word 2007 on Vista. I wrote in a document on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday last week. On Wed, I picked up where I had saved on Tues and on Thurs I picked up where I had saved on Wed. Also backed up to my memory stick both times. However, when I opened the file today, it was Tuesday's version (on both my computer and my memory stick). There was no Auto Recovery option. It must have successfully saved, at least on Wednesday. I've searched high and low on my machine. Thanks in advance for any advice. |

Hi lennox,
That suggests an older version has been copied over the newer one at some stage. You might be able to retrieve something using some file-recovery software, but the chances of success in this scenario are low.
