Default Language

I installed Office 2010 because I wanted to try out Excel and Word.
I'm running on W7 x64, czech version. It is certainly cool that Office has installed itself in my native language, but, well, it is counter-productive.
It tries to fix my grammar by comparing it to czech dictionary (wich is incredibly stupid, as it is very easy to actually detect the language). I pressed F7 for grammar control, then clicked Options, and in the Language tab under 'Choose language for adjustments' I uninstalled everything except US English, and changet everything 'czech' to english. Word asked me to restart it, so I did... with hopes that it will now use my desired dictionary. It did not.
When I asked for grammar control, it offered WICH dictionary to use - but after EVERY word it switched back to Czech.

So, please, HOW to have Word use ONLY AND ALWAYS ONLY AND NOTHING ELSE THAN english dictionary?

(a note: by the looks of it, both Windows and Office try to be easily useable. By doing it they do THE EXACT CONTRARY. Having the OS in my native language is several times MORE diffilcult than using it in english.

Also, I don't recall choosing between 32 and 64 versions - it defaultly installed itself in 32. Why THE HELL Microsoft preffers us using the archaic/old/retarded version of their product? Overall, it almost seems Microsoft has been infiltrated by it's enemies...)
