office won't print
 

windows 7 pro. I have 3 printers. They all print test prints. Suddenly office 2003 got stuck when I wanted to print anything. I tried a restore point and as is often the case the restore wouldn't work properly. I uninstalled office. I printed a doc on computer number 2, an xp machine. I installed office 2010 on the win 7 machine. still gets stuck. Can't be drivers since the two network printers print on xp and since the printers print their test prints on the win 7 machine.

Restoring previous iterations of Windows won't fix necessarily problems that aren't specifically related to software updates. A repair of Office might have been more in order. It's unlikely that an uninstall/reinstall will fix anything a repair won't.

It's also not clear from your post which applications are giving problems - Office 2003 or Office 2010 - or which version(s) you uninstalled/reinstalled and whether you did so in the correct order.

Here's what I think happened. While beginning a print I shut down Greeprint (virtual printer) midstream. After uninstalling greenprint, office began to print again.
