Drop down list/ filter help with sharepoint
I am attempting to filter data from a share point library List and I am having a few issues.
The List I am using is a receiving log that has multiple duplicate Part because it has been added to constantly for years. When I click the drop down list it displays all the part numbers ( including duplicates) so when I click on a random Part number it will filter the Lot number, BUT it will not give me the most recent lot number, which is what I need. It will give me the lot number associated to that part according to the Sharepoint library. I want to know if there is a work around or solution for my issue. here is an example of my problem. Part Number: DIwater1 Lot number: DIW123 DIwater1 DIW124 DIwater1 DIW125 I have to click on the bottom part number to get the most recent lot number but I would like it to automatically choose the most recent lot number, is there anyway to do this? |
