Access database engine with Streets and Trips 2009
I just signed up here, came out to the list of forums, and clicked on MS Access so that I could post this. That's where I found out that I have to register again, that membership for this Office forum does not include membership in the other forums on your list. So, I'm posting this here and I hope that someone can help.
When I start Streets and Trips 2009 installation it says, "Microsoft Streets and Trips 2009 requires the installation of the Microsoft Office Access database engine. " I can continue or cancel, so I cancel. I have Microsoft Office Access installed already. It is the 2003 version. I use Access 2003 and I don't want S&T 2009 to mess with that. Thanks for your help. |

Here If you would post these details to the other site that you have cross-posted on, or link them to here - I'm sure other people looking for this information would be grateful! |

Then I guess I will just have to install it and see if it causes problems with Office 2003, and if it does, then reinstall Office and forget about using S&T. I just wondered if anyone knew for certain if it changed anything with my current Office installation. Thanks for your help.
