Field Size Limited to 255
Using
Windows 7 (64bit), Word 2010 and Excel 2010 (32 bit) I have found that Word 2010 Mail Merge will only allow a field length of 255. My source data is in an Excel spreadsheet. I have seen a number of old posts that indicate that there is a work around. These were probably aimed at Word 2003 because I can get non of them to work on 2010. Is there a way round this on Word 2010? Many thanks, Roy |

Hi Roy,
See: http://tips.pjmsn.me.uk/t0003.htm In particular, try using the method described under 'Change the way Word gets your data to "DDE"'
