Any help is appreciated.

attempting to create a 3x5 display (Example) using word and excel mail merge. The "Icons" are PNG files, The "Imagepath" goes to JPG files, all the other fields are in the excel file to pull from. This is something that I am screwing up due to lack of knowledge.

The goal is to be able to do about 200 of these display tags and update them easily going forward. The goal is to have 4 per sheet and printed to PDF.



I have attached my template, Excel file sample, An approximate example, and a snapshot of the directory structure.

For the 4 per page requirement, give your table a fixed row height of the required value, then tab out of the last cell to create a new row. Then make sure you have the 'label' merge type selected and choose 'update labels'. If you need to, you can insert an empty row between the label rows for vertical spacing.

Thank you, through trial and error I have made it work. Now I have to figure out how to not get an error due to empty cells.

The simplest solution would be to have the empty cells reference a generic 1*1 pixel white image. Or you can just do a post-merge Find/Replace for the error strings.

That just seems too easy. It will not center but is simple.
