Mail Merge To Create a CSV File
I have an unusual mail merge issue. I need to export a bunch of data from an Access database, massage that data into a template that gets uploaded into another program. The file to upload is a CSV file with a header.
A mail merge is almost perfect. I can set the template file to a Directory type, but the header would get duplicated with each entry. Is there a way to generate a Directory type (or something similar) with only the header showing up once? I know it's an unusual application of mail merge. If there is some other way to make it work I'm open to it. |

What if you generated without a header and then insert the header AFTER the mail merge has been performed. You can store the header in a building block quick part so it can be easy to add.

I was hoping to do it all in one go. I guess I'll have to add it in after the fact.
Thanks. |
