Overlapping text once mail merged
Hi,
Weird one here. We mail merge to a saved document using word 2007 but the file is .doc The merge performs fine, but when viewed in Word 2007, it overlaps text and the positioning is all over the place. When then saved as a PDF or viewed in Word 2003, it displays perfectly. Is there any reason why Word 2007 may do this? The mail merge document does include an image, but apart from that nothing out of the ordinary. No headers, no footers. Any help very much appreciated! |

Sorry,
I lie, it also has text boxes in. Didn't see them until I had properly view the document. Sorry. Quote:

Try changing the default printer on the 2007 machine
Does it display badly on all computers using 2007, or just one or just some? |

Hi Kimberley,
Thanks for the reply. Changing the printer won't help I don't think, as it prints fine, just doesn't display correctly. It happens to all users, but on the server using 2003, it looks fine. |

A couple of things I would try: if the vertical alignment of a section is set to justified, try changing that to center.
See what the linked template is... Developer tab > Document template. I'd backspace over it. |

Hi Kimberely,
Thanks again for your response, really appreciate. Afraid no luck on either of the suggestions, but thanks for them, I am at a dead loss! |
