I am using Microsoft Word 2019 and have a labels mail merge file with address, name and class fields - this is sorted in class order. I would like each class to appear on a separate sheet of labels so when the class field changes I would like to insert a page break.
Can anyone assist. Thanks |

Page breaks can't be inserted into label merges. What you could do is:
1. Delete all labels except the first; 2. Format the page with a multi-column layout, using however many columns your stationery has, plus the same inter-column spacing as the inter-label spacing on the label stationery; 3. Use a directory merge instead of a label merge. This will result in the mailmerge outputting what is essentially a single column of labels. Then, whenever there is a class change, you could insert a manual page break.
