Word has FILLIN and ASK fields, both of which will generate a prompt when a mailmerge is executed and both of which can be coded to display only once or for each record. The FILLIN field displays at the location where it has been inserted, whereas the ASK field populates a bookmark that can be cross-referenced in multiple locations.
