Unhappy Merge records by category + Send each category to a new page

I am trying to do "merge records by category" and "send each category to a new page" from macropod's Catalogue Mailmerge Tutorial using the field shown in attachment: mailmerge_test.docx

However, when I run that field (shown in attachment: mailmerge_merged.docx), it's creating a page per row and it's having random page breaks as shown in page 3.

Please helpp

Doubtless that's because you've configured the mailmerge as a Letter merge instead of as a Directory/Caltalogue merge.
