Mail Merge Exponent Format
I am working on the mail merge in Word 2016. I have a problem with certain merge fields which obtain data from Excel 2016: long numbers like 44100160145009 are shown in Word as 4,4100160145e+13. In Excel they are shown correctly. Does anyone have any idea what I have done wrong? Thank you! |

You can fix that via the simple expedient of adding a numeric picture switch to the mergefield:
1. Select the mergefield and press Shift-F9. You should see something like { MERGEFIELD Data } 2. Add a '\# 0' numeric picture switch to the mergefield so you get { MERGEFIELD Data \# 0} 3. Press F9 to update the display. Done.
