Skipping record, every 4.
I am trying to create postcards. The source is from an Excel sheet, that I saved as a .csv file. I've divided a landscape letter-size into 4 areas. I've hard typed return address, and inserted fields with
<Name> <MI> <Last> <Suffix> <Number> <Street> <City>, <ST> <Zip> It fills top to bottom, left to right. 1 3 2 4 It was repeating the first record on all 4, so I added <Next Record> after addresses 1,2,and 3. When it goes to the next page, it starts with record #6, skipping #5. It does it consistently every page, skipping #9, 14, 19, 24, 29, etc. Help? |

You should add the «Next Record» field at the start of records 2, 3, & 4. If you use a label merge and format the first label exactly as you want it to appear, then click on 'Update labels' Word will update the rest as they should be. That said, an across-then down output is what one would ordinarily expect from a label merge.
