Use only blue cells in database in mail merge
We're doing a mail merge, using data from an excel file. We only want to use cells that have a certain color, like blue. Is there a conditional "if-then" statement that can be added to a merge field to use only cells having a color blue? Thanks in advance for your help and interest. Coopfab

A mailmerge cannot access content formatting in the data source. If your colouring is obtained via conditional formatting, you could either:
a) use the same formula in an extra column in your data source to return, say, 1 or 0 as appropriate, then filter the merge by that field; or b) construct a SKIPIF field in the mailmerge main document with code that applies the same logic as your conditional formatting.
