Default Mail Merge Existing Form Letters

Hello,

I have MS Word form letters that I would like to mail merge. The form letters are all in the same format:

email address
multiple lines of a form letter
new page

next email address
next multiple lines of a form letter
new page
etc.

Presume this can be done with a macro, but not sure how to structure it.

Appreciate any help.

Warren

See: Mail merge using an Excel spreadsheet - Office Support. Mailmerges generally don't require macros.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your reply and I understand. This question actually dovetails off of your fantastic macro code to create form letter output with multiple table lines that differ for each recipient. I want to mail merge this output.

My thought is to append some additional code to your original macro that: 1) creates a temp output file 2) mail merges the temp output file to each individual recipient 3) deletes the temp output file. I envision this as a workaround to the ongoing challenge of mail merging multiple table lines.

Again, I appreciate your response.

In that case, see the topic Send Mailmerge Output to Individual Files or the topic Split Merged Output to Separate Documents in the Mailmerge Tips and Tricks 'Sticky' thread at the top of this forum: Mailmerge Tips & Tricks
