I'm posting this so the newbies like me on mail merging images to Word won't repeat the same mistake that took me more than nine hours to discover and correct. Since the advent of the ATM machines, it is only now that our agency has decreed to pay the salaries of its employees by ATM in this part of the boondocks. I am now designing a monthly pay slip that contains the name of the employees and other relevant information including their ID pictures. I concentrated my self-learning on

Mail merge graphics. I tried all the constructions that Mr. Paul Edstein shared in his comments but the trials always came out with the red X saying the link might have been renamed, deleted..... I erred in the understanding that if the image name in the excel database is Marcia.jpg, the image name in the pictures folder where all the ID pictures are stored should likewise be Marcia.jpg. When I deleted the .jpg extension that I manually added to the first names in the picture files, voila, the ID pictures appeared in the in the form. Just sharing.
