MERGESEQ to have a cover page hides fields
Hello,
I have been developing a mail merge to print name badges (A5 size) for participants attending a training course. So with 10 participants I have 10 sheets. The first sheet is a Visitor list with a table holding the 10 people's names. I only want this page as the first sheet and have 11 pages in total, not 20. I can do this using the technique described here: https://www.msofficeforums.com/mail-...ail-merge.html Basically, we test if the MERGESEQ = 1 or not. When I do that, in my regular letter / Word doc, I can't see anything of the first cover page. If's as if the mail merge is always active, hiding the cover page. The "Preview results" icon is not enabled in the Word ribbon. The "Finish & Merge" option is also not used. I want to change the cover page itself but I am unable to see it. How can I show the field codes and IF and cover page again please ? Many thanks ! Wim Gielis Belgium Former Microsoft MVP |

Pressing Alt-F9 toggles the field code display on/off.

Thanks a lot. I used that too and it did not toggle between the codes. However then I realized that I have an AutoHotKey script running which assigns a task to also Alt-F9. When I turn off that script it works fine 👍
