I know.
In Access, the field's data type is Currency. In word, the field code is: {MERGEFIELD "Cost"\# £#,##0.00} and I have played with variances of the £#,##0.00. The only fields affected are the ones that should show £23.50 (they are showing as £28.00). I have amended another dataset to a figure with a decimal value, eg £??.50 and it seems to add £4.50 to any value with .50, but not if it is .25 for example....
