Default Applying Filter to mail merge crashes word!!!

I have a document filled out using mail merge from access. When I change the filter in the mail merge and click ok works locks up and closes! What could be causing this???

Default figured it out

When closing the word document it had the access database and where it was pulling it from off the database saved. When opening the document I have to respecify where the database is and where to pull the info off the database.

Why office would not save the correct path to pull the info from is still a mystery.
