Mail Merge in 2016 Environment Setting Changes
I created a mail merge doc for testing and now when I open up other word documents, the TOC is not visible. Even some of the emails embedded in the doc are now hyperlinked. Is there a way to get word back to displaying the data normally when editing? |

Presumably you're seeing something like:
{ HYPERLINK "mailto:someemailaddress@e-mail.com" } If so, that only means you have Word's field code display toggled 'on'. Pressing Alt-F9 toggles it on/off.

Yes, thanks - I had come across that info yesterday after posting. Doc is back to normal...
Thanks, Rich |
