Change Sender's address
Hi Everyone
I'm using a MS 2010 Excel spreadsheet to link in to MS Word 2010 Mail Merge. At present I'm stuck on the following - assuming it's possible. I have three branch offices for Sender's addresses, how can I change the sender's address dependent on a cell value. For example, the west branch FROM address would be called up for a client in the west of the county. Any help much appreciated. |

Hi Macropod
Many thanks for the quick response. I'm not sure how this would help as my query is nothing to do with "email"; it's a standard business letter whereby head office can respond and just change the FROM address at the top of the letter. Hi Macropod
Thanks for your quick response. I'm not sure how this helps, perhaps I need to clarify this is nothing to do with "email". I'm in Head Office and trying to respond to a client using our branch address of the client's area. |

While not strictly mailmerge, http://www.gmayor.com/ManyToOne.htm in one to one mode will emulate a merge to e-mail and allow the selection of an e-mail account to be used for that merge. You could use they filter to determine which of your records to send. Then merge the records for each account separately.
It is not exactly ideal, but short of creating a dedicated custom e-mail process to select the accounts in real time, it's probably as good as you are going to get.

Apologies for delay in responding.
I've looked into your suggestion and seemed to have resolved my issue using a nested IF statement, similarly for the Branch signatory at the bottom of the letter. |
