Default MailMerge fax not e-mail?

Hi all, new to Win7 and Office '07, and the site, and need a bit of help!

Is it possble to fax multiple recipients, instead of e-mailing them, from Word using mail merge?

After finishing the merge to print I select the fax driver and have an option to import but the drop down box shows no option for Outlook, only Outlook Express. I can create a .csv from Outlook and use that, but that's not what I bought Office HS and Outlook for...

Do I need a third party fax application for this?

I can add I've read the outlook "Create and distribute merged faxes" help for 2003 and it's described there, but for me the merge to fax function is missing.

I have only "Finish & Merge" ->Print Documents ->(merge to printer) ->Print, from where I select fax driver ->new fax and the "to" field is empty. Contacts ->import contacts is limited to wab, csv, vcf, ldif.

So, no merge to fax with Office '07 and Outlook as there was with '03?

I think you need a third-part fax application and a phone line to your computer.

Be wary of the anti-fax laws for marketing pieces. If you fax someone without an existing business relationship or explicit permission, it's a $500 fine per fax. The tricky thing is that the lawyer going after you gets to keep the fine, not the government. That puts some real teeth in the enforcement!

That might be a good thing!
No worries, I'm not a spammer.
Also Linux has it covered, although the ability to import .pst is not built in it can be done.

If anyone else is looking for an answer search for libpst, a Debian based Linux would be the most straightforward.

Once I'm all done I may post back more info.
