I am using Word 2007 and following (all ?) the guidance from within Mail merge I understand that you can use an OTHER (Gmail) email server than Outlook as much as I try I continue to have a problem. At the point of MERGE TO EMAILS the program appears to be doing so in the background however no emails are sent. Any assistance gratefully recieved |

Yes, you can merge to email with gmail, etc., but you do need to have Outlook installed, even if you don't use it.
