Can this be done?
Hi all, and forgive me if this is not a mail merge.
I will try my best to explain what I'm trying to achieve, perhaps someone can tell me if it's possible. I run an online business and include a mailshot with all my parcels, just an A5 typed on word, thanks for the purchase, visit us on our website, blah blah blah. I'd like to add a discount code to this note, but I'd like to add a unique code to each one as it's less open to abuse. I can generate a list of codes in a column in excel, but the question is, can I then import them into word so that each mailshot displays a unique code. Suppose I'm looking for something similar to what you can do in mail chimp is load a list of codes and then put |*coupon*| where you want them to display. Possible? Or even if not in Word can anyone suggest an alternative solution? Hope that makes sense. Appreciate your time. Iggs |

Sure, a Word mailmerge could take a column of Excel data and produce separate coupons for each. A standard letter merge will do that or, if you'd prefer to use labels, Word could do a label merge instead.
