Without knowing anything about how the various letters differ from one another or how the data is organised to indicate which customers are which, it is difficult to recommend a course of action, but you may be able to conditionally insert the required texts that make up the difference between the customer letters and merge the whole lot as one, with the letters being created on the fly from the conditional fields.
