Merge field needs extra space when it populates
I have a mail merge field for «service_list_addresses_block», when I merge more than one party it populates as below (fig 1) I need a way for the parties to populate with a space between each other as in figure 2. Any help is welcome.

It's not apparent from your post whether you have multiple addresses in the same «service_list_addresses_block» field, or separate addresses in multiple «service_list_addresses_block» fields. If it's the: former, there's nothing that can be done about the spacing in Word; latter, simply insert an extra empty paragraph or line break between the fields

In that case, there's nothing that can be done at the Word end - you'd need to modify the data source.
