Return List Based On Specific Value
Hi all, thanks for your help in advanced.
I run a basketball competition and am trying to use a mail merge to help generate the team sheets automatically. I have an excel sheet which has every player in the competition and the team they play in. I have used a mail merge already to fill in the team name each week based on who they are playing, but what I now want to do is automatically populate the sheet with each of the players names who play in that team. Is there a way to write to find 10 players names, who all play in the same team, for example 'Team A' and then put them in a column, 1 name per row: Team A: Joe Blogs Super Man Bat Man and so on. I'm hoping that makes enough sense that someone might be able to help. Cheers Helmszee |

Provided your data are suitably arranged, that's quite possible.
If you could attach a copy of your workbook to a post showing the data structure with some representative data (delete anything sensitive), we'd gladly take a look at it to see what can be done. You can attach files via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.
